The B.Sc. in Nursing takes a forward-thinking and dynamic approach to healthcare education. The focus of the degree is on the fundamental issues in nursing practice, but disciplines like psychology, sociology, philosophy, law, pharmacology, microbiology and others all make an important contribution to the practice and profession of nursing.

On successful completion a graduate is eligible to apply for a professional registration (RGN, RPN or RNID) with the Irish Nursing Board
Entry Requirements
Students must present six subjects of which two must be at grade C or above at Advanced GCE (A-Level. The other subjects must be at least at grade C or above on GCSE or Advanced Subsidiary GCE (AS) papers. The six subjects must include: English, Mathematics and a language other than English.
Required: A-Level D or AS-Level D or GCSE C Mathematics plus A-Level D or AS-Level D or GCSE C in one of Physics, Chemistry, Biology
